Our Logo

The Armenian Report Logo Inspiration showing symbols like a live recording icon, bolt of lightning and The Armenian Report name itself

The inspiration to create The Armenian Report logo was the 2020 year with all the events happening in Armenia and globally, endless flows of information that needs to reach the people rapidly, correctly, and continuously. Keeping up with the latest news and the idea of live streaming became the backbone of the logo visualized as a red circle. The stylized and minimalistic A and R letters form a hidden sign of lightning that illustrates the rapid news.

Anna, the Founder

Anna Kachikyan, the esteemed founder of The Armenian Report, has established herself as a prominent figure in the realms of television and journalism. With an illustrious career spanning nearly a decade, she made a significant impact as one of the original cast members of TMZ-on-TV, working under the guidance of Harvey Levin.

Throughout her journey, Anna's professional endeavors have encompassed various influential platforms. She began her impressive trajectory at CNBC business news, later transitioning to the national news sector with NBC News Channel. Continuing to elevate her profile, she made a remarkable mark at KABC local news before ultimately finding her place at TMZ. In late 2015, Anna embarked on a new and captivating chapter by launching The Anna Report, which not only expanded her repertoire but also exemplified her success in the emerging realm of live streaming. At the forefront of this exciting medium, she captivated thousands of viewers with her engaging content and demonstrated a remarkable ability to connect with her audience.

However, it was during the transformative period of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's revolution sweeping Armenia in April 2018 that Anna's profound connection to her homeland became resoundingly evident. The Velvet Revolution served as a catalyst, awakening her to the power of combining her social media acumen and journalistic prowess to share the unfolding events with her dedicated followers. As the dawn of a New Armenia began to emerge, Anna birthed The Armenian Report, a platform designed to inform, empower, and unite.

Born in Yerevan and raised in Los Angeles, Anna's upbringing straddled two cultures, fostering a deep and abiding appreciation for her Armenian heritage. She displayed remarkable determination and academic excellence, graduating ahead of her class from Herbert Hoover High School before commencing her studies in journalism at CSUN. As an accomplished athlete, she also captained the tennis team at Glendale Community College, showcasing her dedication and leadership on and off the court. During her leisure time, Anna enjoys playing tennis and indulging in wine tasting adventures with her fiancé, Shant Der Ashodian.

The Armenian Report, meticulously crafted by Anna Kachikyan, stands as a testament to her unwavering commitment to independent journalism, void of any external influences or political bias. Anna and her dedicated team strive relentlessly to deliver high-quality journalism, providing a trustworthy source of information. Their work relies on the support and engagement of their valued audience to continue making a meaningful impact.

Driven by an unwavering devotion to her homeland and the Armenian people, Anna Kachikyan embraces her mission to inform, connect, and empower through The Armenian Report.
