Anna Amroyan Wins World Youth Weightlifting Championship Title

Armenia has once again celebrated success at the World Youth Weightlifting Championships, as Anna Amroyan claimed the gold medal in her category.

The competition is currently taking place in Egypt, where young athletes from around the world are competing for top honors. In the women’s 77 kg weight class, Armenia’s representative Anna Amroyan delivered a strong and consistent performance across both lifts.

In the snatch event, Amroyan successfully lifted 100 kg, 104 kg, and 106 kg, showing stability and control in each attempt. She continued her impressive run in the clean and jerk, where she lifted 128 kg, 132 kg, and 134 kg. Her result in this discipline placed her in first position.

With a combined total of 240 kg from both lifts, Anna Amroyan secured first place overall and was crowned the world youth champion.
