Armenia's Former Representative to CSTO Appointed as Ambassador to the Netherlands

In a recent development, President Vahagn Khachaturyan has taken decisive steps in Armenia's diplomatic landscape. A presidential decree has been signed to recall Victor Biyagov from his role as Armenia's Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative to the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).


Simultaneously, another presidential decree has been issued, designating Victor Biyagov as Armenia's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. In this new capacity, he will also serve as Armenia's Representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.


These appointments signify Armenia's commitment to strengthening its diplomatic ties and representation on the international stage. Biyagov brings a wealth of experience to his new role, underscoring Armenia's dedication to fostering positive relationships with its global partners, including the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
