Armenia will host technology leaders, investors and semiconductor specialists from more than a dozen countries in November as Silicon Mountains 2026 expands into a two-day summit and exhibition.
The event, scheduled for Nov. 3-4, will focus heavily on investment, semiconductors and engineering — sectors Armenia has increasingly sought to develop as part of its technology industry.
Silicon Mountains is organized by the Union of Employers of Information and Communication Technologies with support from Armenia’s Ministry of High-Tech Industry.
The program begins Nov. 3 with the “Invest in Innovation” summit, where speakers will discuss financing for new technologies, the semiconductor industry and the development of engineering solutions.
The recipient of Armenia’s 2026 State Award for Global Contribution to High Technology will deliver the keynote address. Organizers said dozens of international experts and industry executives are also expected to participate.
The first day will also conclude the International Microelectronics Olympiad, a competition bringing together participants from more than 13 countries.
Attention will shift to the semiconductor industry on Nov. 4 with the International Microelectronics Forum. The program will cover chip design and research, as well as efforts to train specialists for a field facing growing demand worldwide.
For the first time, Silicon Mountains will also include a large technology exhibition alongside its conference program. About 50 Armenian and international companies are expected to have booths, while 12 selected startups will receive exhibition space at no cost.
Workshops and business-to-business meetings are also planned, giving companies, investors and industry professionals opportunities to meet outside the main conference sessions.
The expanded format gives Armenia another platform to showcase its technology sector while connecting local companies and engineers with international investors and industry leaders.
