Armenian Gymnast Artur Davtyan Wins Silver Medal at Paris Olympics

Artur Davtyan, a star gymnast from Armenia, won a silver medal in the Olympics on August 4th with a score of 14.966.
He has once again proven his exceptional skills by advancing to the finals of the Paris Olympics. The men’s gymnastics qualifying round took place at the Bercy Gymnasium in Paris, where Davtyan secured his spot in the pole vault finals by finishing in 7th place with a score of 14.666 points.
Davtyan is no stranger to success. At the Tokyo Olympics, he earned a bronze medal with a final score of 14.733 points. His impressive track record includes being a world champion, a two-time European champion, a European Games champion, and a two-time World Cup winner. In the 2022 World Championship held in Liverpool, Davtyan won the title with an outstanding score of 15.050 points. He continued his winning streak in 2023 by claiming the European Championship in Antalya with 15.033 points and the World Cup with 15.166 points.
