Armenian Lacrosse Coach Launches 12-Day Bible Reading Tour Across Armenia

Armenian Lacrosse co-founder and coach Johnny Mouradian has launched a 12-day road trip across Armenia, sharing daily Bible readings from historic churches, monasteries and cultural sites.

The tour begins Aug. 11 at the History Museum of Armenia in Yerevan and will conclude Aug. 22 at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in Vagharshapat.

Mouradian plans to visit a different location each day and record a Bible reading video lasting less than one minute. The videos are intended to encourage Armenians to attend church and invite others to join them.

His message throughout the trip is simple: Bring a friend or family member to church this Sunday — and every Sunday.

The videos are being shared across Armenian Lacrosse’s TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Telegram and Facebook accounts. They are also available at ArmeniaLacrosse.com⁠.

The itinerary includes:

* Aug. 11 — History Museum of Armenia, Yerevan

* Aug. 12 — Mesrop Mashtots statue at the Matenadaran, Yerevan

* Aug. 13 — Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, Yerevan

* Aug. 14 — Cathedral of the Holy Mother of God, also known as Yot Verk or Seven Wounds, Gyumri

* Aug. 15 — Khor Virap Monastery

* Aug. 16 — St. Mesrop Mashtots Church, Oshakan

* Aug. 17 — Vayk Stadium

* Aug. 18 — Geghard Monastery

* Aug. 19 — St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral, Yerevan

* Aug. 20 — Jesus Christ monument, Mount Hatis

* Aug. 21 — Akhtala Monastery Fortress

* Aug. 22 — Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Vagharshapat

The road trip is part of Armenian Lacrosse’s Christian ministry, which includes weekly church invitations, Bible study classes and an online course titled “Jesus, Language, Heritage.” The organization also works in partnership with Khachkar Studios.
