Cristiano Ronaldo Gives Autograph to Armenian Fan with Cancer Ahead of Portugal vs Armenia Match in Yerevan

Cristiano Ronaldo shared a touching moment in Yerevan when he met Areg, an Armenian fan battling cancer. Armen Martirosyan, director of the Children’s Health Foundation of Armenia, said it was a very emotional encounter and posted a video of Ronaldo giving Areg an autograph.

Ronaldo is in Armenia for the 2026 FIFA World Cup European Qualifier between Portugal and Armenia, taking place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan. The match kicks off at 8 PM local time.
