The cobblestone streets of Yerevan have transformed into a global celebration as Yerevan Wine Days 2025 brings together tourists from all over the world for three unforgettable days of wine, food, music, and friendship.
From Asia to Africa, Europe to the Americas, visitors came not only to taste Armenia’s wine, but to feel the spirit of the country — joyful, ancient, and welcoming. The Armenian Report was on the ground capturing the excitement and speaking directly with the people who traveled here to take part in one of Armenia’s most beloved festivals.
“Very Cool Place and Welcoming People”
“I’m from Ghana. I’ve been living here for three years now, and I like it here — very cool place and welcoming people,” one guest told us. “Tonight, I’ve got my guy here from the United States. We’re going to chill together and drink some fine Armenian wine.”
Their laughter and energy were contagious. “I’m always coming to the wine festival. I never miss it,” said his American friend, holding up his glass. “We came to enjoy the good vibes of Armenia.”
“Join the Concert and Drink Everything Here!”
From Thailand, a young woman beamed with excitement:
“I’m from Thailand! Join the concert and drink everything here!” she shouted with a laugh, dancing to the sound of live Armenian music in the background.
Others echoed the same feeling — a sense of joy and freedom.
“Nice music, nice day, nice drink,” said a man from Iran, taking in the atmosphere with a smile.
“Austria Has Good Wine — But Not Like This”
A group of friends from Austria and the United States clinked their glasses and laughed as they walked through the festival.
“We’re having a lot of fun. Austria has good wine, but it’s not like here — it’s way better in Armenia!” one of them said.
“It’s our first day and already we’re sharing a glass. Everyone’s so friendly, and the wine is great,” added an American tourist.
“Second Time in Yerevan — We Came for the Wine Festival”
One couple from Australia told us they had traveled specifically to be here.
“This is my second time in Yerevan. We’ve only been here for one day so far, but we’re really enjoying the wine festival,” they said. “The food is wonderful, the wines are excellent, and everyone is dancing. We came just for this and we’ll be here for the full three days.”
From Russia, India, China, and Dubai, dozens of others expressed similar admiration for Armenian wine and hospitality — some on their first trip, others now regular visitors.
“Of course we are enjoying it here,” said a visitor from China. “This is the first time I’m in Yerevan. We made a lot of trips yesterday and today,” said another tourist. “It’s a fine time.”
A Festival of Nations, a Toast to Armenia
Yerevan Wine Days, now in its third year in the city center, has grown into an international event that shows how far Armenian winemaking has come — and how much the world is beginning to notice.
Wineries from across Armenia pour glasses of Areni Noir, Voskehat, and other native varieties. Chefs serve lavash wraps, dolma, and khorovats as live bands fill the air with Armenian melodies.
But the festival’s real magic is in the crowd: a global community gathering in one place, all raising their glasses to Armenia.
For the tourists who came — whether from Ghana, Thailand, Iran, Austria, or Australia — it wasn’t just about wine. It was about joy, connection, and discovering a country that has opened its heart to the world.
