Georgia Announces Readiness to Work with Armenia & Azerbaijan for Peace: Prime Minister Garibashvili
Georgia has publicly declared its commitment to collaborate with Armenia and Azerbaijan to establish enduring peace in the South Caucasus region. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili made this announcement during the opening ceremony of the Tbilisi Silk Road International Forum held on Thursday.
Expressing his dedication to fostering peaceful relations, Prime Minister Garibashvili unveiled his government's neighborhood initiative. He emphasized Georgia's readiness to engage in cooperative efforts with its neighboring nations, Armenia and Azerbaijan, aiming to secure a long-term and comprehensive peace in the South Caucasus.
"With the help of my government's peaceful neighborhood initiative, we are ready to work with our neighbors and friends, Armenia and Azerbaijan, in order to establish long-term peace in the South Caucasus once and for all," affirmed Garibashvili, highlighting the sincerity of Georgia's intentions.
This declaration comes as a welcoming gesture to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, both of whom have arrived in the Georgian capital to participate in the Tbilisi Silk Road International Forum. Their presence at this crucial forum underscores the shared commitment of these nations' leadership to regional peace and cooperation.
