Golden Apricot Film Festival Reveals 2025 International Jury Members

The Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival has announced the members of the International Competition Jury for its 22nd edition, set to take place from July 13 to 20.
The jury includes a distinguished group of filmmakers and producers:
Eric Nazarian, an American-Armenian screenwriter and director, participant of the San Sebastián and Turin film festivals and a previous Golden Apricot award winner.
Athina Rachel Tsangari, one of the co-founders of the Greek New Wave cinema and co-author of early works by acclaimed director Yorgos Lanthimos. Tsangari is best known for her film Attenberg and for staging the official ceremonies of the Athens Olympic Games.
Adilkhan Yerzhanov, a leading figure in contemporary Central Asian cinema, recognized for his bold genre experimentation and trademark dark irony.
Ada Solomon, one of Romania’s foremost film producers, a recipient of the Berlin Film Festival’s Golden Bear, and a producer of several Oscar-nominated films.
The president of this year’s international jury is Abderrahmane Sissako, an award-winning filmmaker from Mauritania, celebrated at the Cannes Film Festival and France’s César Awards. Sissako is known as one of the most sensitive voices in world cinema advocating for dignity, compassion, justice, and tolerance.
The Golden Apricot Film Festival will once again bring together a diverse program of competition films from around the globe, including works featured at Cannes, Berlin, Venice, and other major festivals. Renowned international film professionals are also expected to attend and share their expertise with Armenian audiences.
