Grigor Ghazaryan Wins Gold at Youth World Weightlifting Championships

Armenia has claimed its second medal in the combined total at the Youth and Junior World Weightlifting Championships, currently nearing their conclusion in the Peruvian capital, Lima.


Grigor Ghazaryan emerged as the world champion in the under-96 kg youth category, securing the gold medal with a total lift of 330 kg (145 kg snatch + 185 kg clean and jerk). Ghazaryan executed all six attempts successfully, also earning gold medals in both the snatch and clean and jerk disciplines.
