Nike has expanded its presence in Armenia with the opening of the region's largest Nike store on Yerevan's Northern Avenue, introducing the same retail concept found in the brand's flagship locations across the United States, Europe and Asia.
The new three-story flagship store gives customers in Armenia access to Nike's latest collections alongside exclusive products not available at the company's other locations in the country. In addition to the brand's signature footwear and apparel, shoppers will find one of the widest Nike product selections in the region, including performance gear, lifestyle collections, iconic silhouettes and limited releases.
Senior regional executives and top Nike representatives traveled to Yerevan for the opening — which shows the importance of the Armenian market as the company continues to expand its presence in the region.
Speaking to The Armenian Report, Nike Armenia Director Norayr Davtyan said the opening represents a milestone not only for the company but also for Armenia's retail sector and sporting culture.
"The opening of the region's largest Nike store in Armenia is an important milestone not only for our company, but also for the development of the country's retail and sports culture," Davtyan said. "This three-floor flagship store represents the result of 18 years of work, growth, and partnership in Armenia."

Davtyan said the company set out to create more than a traditional retail space by introducing a new Nike experience that combines innovation, sport, lifestyle and community.
"The store offers one of the widest Nike product selections in the region, including performance categories, lifestyle collections, iconic silhouettes, and exclusive releases," he said.
Nike's official representative has operated in Armenia for the past 18 years, steadily building the brand's local footprint. The opening of the new flagship store is the largest investment to date and reflects the company's long-term commitment to the Armenian market.
The launch also featured a collaboration between Nike Armenia and Shunch Natural Water. To mark the occasion, the partners introduced a limited-edition product that was available exclusively during the opening event.
The expansion extends beyond retail. Nike has also officially launched Nike Run Club in Armenia, bringing one of the company's best-known global fitness initiatives to Yerevan.
Already active in major cities around the world, Nike Run Club offers free group running sessions for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Training is organized in beginner and advanced groups, allowing runners to take part at a pace that matches their experience. Participants can also join the club's official Telegram channel to receive schedules, meeting locations and updates on upcoming runs.
Davtyan said building the running community is a key part of Nike's long-term vision in Armenia.
"Through regular runs, training sessions, and community events, we aim to make sport more accessible, bring people together, and encourage more people to lead an active lifestyle," he said. "We are proud that such a significant Nike destination has opened in the heart of Armenia, and we look forward to welcoming both local customers and visitors from across the region."
With the opening of its largest regional store and the launch of Nike Run Club, Nike is strengthening its presence in Armenia while positioning Yerevan as a destination for both international retail and community-driven sports initiatives.
