PM Pashinyan Fires Armavir Province Governor Over Unsatisfactory Gym Renovations

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited Armavir Province today to inspect the quality of gym renovations. The Prime Minister has taken decisive action following the unsatisfactory quality of the renovations, thus firing the Governor of Armavir, Edvard Hovhannisyan. The announcement was made public through a decision posted on the government's official website.

PM Pashinyan made the decision after touring the newly constructed gymnasium in Aragats village. Displeased once again with the substandard quality of construction work, he promptly ordered rectification of the defects. The PM walked through puddles of water to show everyone how the playground outside is not leveled. He then checked every single water faucet and was once again dissatisfied with their sturdiness.

This latest move follows a similar incident during the PM's visit to Lori Province earlier in the week. Expressing dissatisfaction with the quality of renovations carried out in multiple gymnasiums, Pashinyan promptly took action. Within hours of his visit, both Lori provincial governor Aram Khachatryan and Armen Ghularyan, the chairman of Armenia's Urban Development Committee, were relieved of their positions.
