Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Violate Ceasefire in Artsakh’s Martakert Region

On June 21, at approximately 4:00, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan committed a ceasefire violation in the direction of the Martakert region, as reported by the Defense Army of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

According to the Artsakh authorities, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces resorted to using small arms in the violation. Fortunately, the Armenian side reported no casualties or losses as a result of this incident.

Upon discovering the breach of the ceasefire, the matter was immediately reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping troops, who are stationed in the region to help maintain peace and stability.

As of 10:30 on June 21, the situation on the contact line was relatively stable. However, such violations underscore the fragile nature of the current situation and the importance of remaining vigilant in preventing any escalation of tensions.
