Armenia’s Elida Kocharyan Becomes Three-Time European Boxing Champion

Armenian boxer Elida Kocharyan has made history by winning her third European Championship title at the Under-23 European Boxing Championships taking place in Yerevan.
Competing in the 60 kg weight category, Kocharyan defeated Russia’s Anastasia Alexeyeva with a decisive 5:0 victory, earning another gold medal for Armenia. According to the Armenian Boxing Federation, her latest win marks a new milestone in both Armenian and international boxing history.
“This is an exceptional result not only in Armenian but also in world boxing history,” the federation said, calling her victory an extraordinary achievement.
Kocharyan’s dominance in the ring continues to inspire a new generation of Armenian athletes. She has become one of the country’s most successful female boxers, representing Armenia at numerous international competitions and steadily building her reputation as a world-class athlete.
