Armenian Weightlifter Alexandra Grigoryan Wins Silver at European Championships

Alexandra Grigoryan, a member of the Armenian women’s weightlifting team, has achieved great success at the European Championships. The event took place in Batumi, Georgia, where Grigoryan competed in the women’s 58 kg weight category.


In the snatch event, Grigoryan successfully lifted 88 kg and then 91 kg in two attempts. Despite her strong performance, she finished in fourth place in this event. However, she did not give up and continued to compete in the clean and jerk event.


During the clean and jerk, Grigoryan lifted 115 kg and then 119 kg. This impressive performance earned her a bronze medal in this category. 


Overall, Grigoryan achieved a total combined weight of 210 kg in the two lifts, leading her to win another silver medal at the European Championships. 


This accomplishment is a significant achievement for Alexandra Grigoryan and shows her hard work and dedication to the sport. Her success adds to the pride of the Armenian weightlifting team and encourages more athletes in the country.
