Armenian Wrestler Vahe Hoveyan Wins European U17 Gold in Just 32 Seconds

Armenia’s Vahe Hoveyan won the gold medal at the European U17 Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships taking place in Samokov, Bulgaria, after a dominant performance in the 80 kg weight category.


The Armenian wrestler secured the European title by defeating Hungary’s Dominik Szilagyi in the final match in just 32 seconds. Hoveyan’s quick victory became one of the standout performances of the championship and earned Armenia another major success in youth wrestling.


The tournament brought together some of Europe’s strongest young wrestlers, with athletes competing for continental titles across multiple weight divisions.
