Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Accuses France for Supporting Armenia

On April 12, the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs issued a statement in support of Armenia.

"Respect for the territorial integrity of Armenia and the withdrawal of Azerbaijani forces from the occupied positions on the Armenian side of the contact line are essential to prevent future incidents and preserve the basis for lasting peace in the region,” the French Foreign Ministry stated earlier.

In response, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry commented on the statement on the same day.

According to the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, "The statement by France regarding the importance of unilateral respect for the territorial integrity of Armenia is an example of bias against our country."
