Diplomats Rush to Assess Blockade Threatening Humanitarian Aid Delivery to Artsakh

Humanitarian Aid Delivery to Artsakh

Diplomats accredited in Armenia embarked on a visit to the village of Kornidzor in the Syunik Province, aiming to oversee the ongoing situation surrounding a humanitarian convoy destined for Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). The convoy, laden with critical food and medical supplies, has faced obstruction at the entrance of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan.

During the visit, foreign ambassadors observed the conditions on the ground, seeking to gain firsthand insights into the challenges the humanitarian mission is encountering. Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, accompanied the delegation of foreign diplomats during their assessment.

The visit underscores the international community's concern and active involvement in addressing the urgent humanitarian needs of Artsakh. As tensions persist at the blocked corridor, diplomatic efforts continue to find a resolution and ensure the timely delivery of essential aid to those in need.
