Hamlet Manukyan Named Best European Gymnast of 2025 After Public Vote

European champion Hamlet Manukyan has been named the Best European Gymnast of 2025 after winning a major public poll organized by the International Gymnastics Federation.


The Armenian athlete earned a total of 1,030,759 votes. This gave him 51% of the overall vote and placed him first in the final results. The award was decided by fans and supporters who took part in the online poll.

Manukyan finished ahead of Azerbaijan’s Tofik Aliyev, who received 988,538 votes. Aliyev earned 49% of the vote, making the race very close between the two gymnasts. The difference in votes showed strong support for both athletes across Europe and beyond.


Hamlet Manukyan has already built a strong name for himself in European gymnastics. As a European champion, he has shown high-level skill, focus, and steady performance in major competitions. His latest recognition as Best European Gymnast of 2025 adds another important achievement to his growing career.


The International Gymnastics Federation organized the poll to highlight the best performers of the year and give fans a chance to support their favorite athletes. The large number of votes cast in the poll shows the strong interest in gymnastics and the popularity of both finalists.


Following the announcement of the results, the Gymnastics Federation of Armenia shared a public message celebrating Manukyan’s victory.


“Thank you to each and every one of you for your active participation and support. Thanks to your efforts, unity, and boundless love, Hamlet Manukyan was recognized as the best gymnast of the year. This is a victory for all of us. Thank you. Together we are strong,” the Gymnastics Federation of Armenia wrote.


The message underlined the role of public support in the outcome of the vote. It also presented the award as a shared achievement for the athlete and his supporters.
