Henrikh Mkhitaryan will continue his career at Inter Milan after the Italian club extended the Armenian midfielder's contract through June 30, 2027, keeping one of Armenia's greatest footballers in Serie A for another season.
Inter announced the one-year extension on its official website, confirming that the former Armenia national team captain will remain with the Nerazzurri at age 37.
"Experience, leadership, a winning mentality, unwavering composure, and control in midfield. After four successful seasons, Henrikh Mkhitaryan will continue his journey with Inter," the club said in its announcement.

Inter credited Mkhitaryan with bringing international experience, technical quality and tactical intelligence to the squad since his arrival in 2022, describing him as one of the team's most influential midfielders.
The decision stands out as Inter reshapes its veteran core. Just hours before confirming Mkhitaryan's new deal, the club announced the departures of four experienced players — Matteo Darmian, Francesco Acerbi, Stefan de Vrij and goalkeeper Yann Sommer. All are over the age of 30, leaving Mkhitaryan as the only senior player to receive a contract extension.
Mkhitaryan joined Inter in 2022 after successful spells with several top European clubs. Since arriving in Milan, he has played a key role in the team's domestic and European campaigns, adding another chapter to one of the most accomplished careers in Armenian football history.
