Sev Ohanian Makes History as “Sinners” Earns 16 Oscar Nominations

Armenian-American producer Sev Ohanian has made history with his work on the film SINNERS, which has received 16 Academy Award nominations. This makes Ohanian the first Armenian-American ever nominated for Best Picture and only the second Armenian overall, following British-Armenian producer Tanya Seghatchian, who was nominated in 2022 for The Power of the Dog. This is a major milestone for Armenian representation in global cinema.
SINNERS has become one of the most celebrated films of the year. It has earned around $368 million worldwide and received numerous awards and nominations from top film organizations.
