United States Urges Baku to Open Lachin Corridor at UN Amid Artsakh Blockade Crisis

The United States has issued a strong plea to Baku, urging the immediate opening of the Lachin Corridor. The urgent call comes amidst the ongoing Artsakh blockade crisis, which has raised grave concerns about the well-being and access to essential resources for the civilian population.

During a UN Artsakh Crisis Session, the U.S. emphasized that "Access to Food Should Never Be Held Hostage," reflecting the critical need to ensure the availability of food and vital supplies to the affected people. The call resonates with the international community's shared commitment to safeguarding the rights and well-being of civilian populations, especially in times of crisis.

The U.S. condemnation of holding the civilian population hostage in the midst of the Artsakh Blockade Crisis was articulated at a UN Security Council Emergency Session. The session shed light on the dire circumstances faced by the people in the region and highlighted the urgent requirement for immediate action.
