Second Rare Leopard Since 2025 Spotted in Armenia’s Gndasar Conservation Area
A leopard has been spotted in Armenia’s Gndasar Community Conserved Area, becoming the second leopard recorded there since 2025, WWF-Armenia announced. Wildlife cameras captured the animal on October 9 and 13 near the village of Zangakatun. The leopard was named Aghasy after the local caretaker who installed the cameras that recorded it.
