15 Armenian Servicemen Killed in a Fire at Military Unit, 3 in Critical Condition

BREAKING: Fifteen Armenian servicemen were killed in a fire at a military unit in Armenia today, Ministry of Defense reports.


Three servicemen are in critical condition.


On January 19, around 1:30am local time, a fire broke out in the shelter of the engineer sniper company of the N military unit of Armenia’s Ministry of Defense, located in the territory of Azat village of Gegharkunik Province, under unknown circumstances, the military department of Armenia reports.


According to the report, although fire extinguishing works were carried out at the scene of the incident, there were victims and injured as a result of the fire. Data is being verified.
