Armenia’s TUMO to Open its First Center in the City of Mumbai in India

TUMO is set to open its first center in India, located in the city of Mumbai later this year. The new facility, which can accommodate up to 1,500 students, is TUMO’s first center in India.
TUMO is a free-of-charge, after-school program that provides teenagers aged 12 to 18 with 21st-century skills in fields such as robotics, graphic design, animation, game development, motion graphics, web development, 3D modeling, generative AI, and filmmaking. Its self-paced learning model combines digital training with workshops led by industry professionals. Since its founding in Yerevan, Armenia, TUMO has expanded to multiple countries, bringing Armenia’s innovative approach to technology and creative education to thousands of young learners worldwide.
The Mumbai center will be operated in partnership with Shikha Academy and funded by the Shantilal Shanghvi Foundation, showing strong local support for digital education for youth. The program is fully funded through donations, making it free and accessible to all teens, no matter their background or where they live.
With the launch of its Mumbai center, TUMO is providing high-quality educational opportunities for young students, helping them develop advanced digital skills that are essential for future careers in technology and creative industries.
