Armenia is set to host one of the world’s most influential international wine tasting events, the “Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2026.” The Government of Armenia has approved the full program of events for bringing this global competition to the country.

The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is known as one of the largest and most respected wine competitions worldwide. The competition is recognized for its unique format and its role in showing wine regions across the world.

For the 2026 edition, several countries placed formal bids, including Armenia, Georgia, Romania, and Moldova. According to the government’s official explanation, the organizers chose Armenia because of the country’s strong winemaking heritage, its cultural depth, and its rapid growth in the wine sector in recent years. Armenia also showed the capacity to host major international events, an important factor in the final decision.
