ARMENIA WINS JUNIOR EUROVISION 2026! 13-Year-Old Naré Brings Home Third Victory!

BREAKING: Armenia has won the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, with 13-year-old Naré taking first place in Malta with her song “BOO!” and securing the country's third victory in the competition.

The young singer from Yerevan defeated contestants from 15 other countries Saturday, October 24, at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali. The victory follows Armenia's previous Junior Eurovision wins in 2010 and 2021.

Naré entered the competition as one of the favorites, having attracted international attention before the live final. The music video for “BOO!” had surpassed 1 million views on YouTube ahead of the contest.

The upbeat song explores childhood fears and finding the courage to overcome them. Naré describes its message as learning to face what frightens us rather than allowing fear to take control.

Her journey to Junior Eurovision took four attempts. After failing to secure a place in Armenia's national selection three times, she returned this year and was finally chosen to represent her country.

Naré began singing at age 5 and has performed in musicals, television programs and other Armenian music productions.

“BOO!” features music by Armenian composer Lilit Navasardyan, with Grigor Kyokchyan credited for the lyrics on the official Junior Eurovision website. The music video was directed by Artur Manukyan.

Armenia has been competing in Junior Eurovision since 2007 and has established itself as one of the contest's most successful participating countries. Naré's victory adds another title to that record.
