This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of these young scholars, as well as the guidance of their leaders. The team was led by experienced professionals: Topchyan from the Yerevan Institute of Physics and Baghdasaryan from Yerevan State University (YSU). Their leadership and expertise played a crucial role in helping the students navigate the complex problems and challenges presented at the Olympiad.

The IOAA is one of the most prestigious competitions in the field of science education, challenging students with both theoretical and practical problems in astronomy and astrophysics. Competing at this level requires not only a deep understanding of the subjects but also the ability to apply knowledge in creative and innovative ways.

Armenia's success at this year's Olympiad builds on a strong tradition of excellence. At the 16th IOAA in 2023, the Armenian team also performed well, bringing home one silver and one bronze medal. This continued success highlights the strength of Armenia's educational programs in science and the dedication of its students and educators.
