Azerbaijan Violates Ceasefire in Four Artsakh Regions; Russian Peacekeepers Notified
In a fresh breach of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) ceasefire, the Azerbaijani military has engaged in hostilities in four different directions, according to a statement from the Artsakh Ministry of Defense.
The violation occurred from 12:40 on June 25 to 01:00 on June 26 in the regions of Martuni, Askeran, Shushi, and Martakert, as reported by the ministry on Monday.
Additionally, at 5:30pm on June 25, the Azerbaijani military targeted a farmer who was conducting agricultural work on his tractor in the fields of the Avdur community.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported as a result of these incidents.
The Artsakh authorities have promptly informed the Russian peacekeepers about the recent hostilities.
As of 09:30 on June 26, the situation on the line of contact was relatively stable, as stated by the ministry.
The repeated ceasefire violations continue to raise concerns about the regional security situation and underscore the importance of maintaining stability in the area.
