EU Monitoring Mission Presence in Armenia Played a Significant Role in Stabilizing Situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan Border, Says FM Mirzoyan

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan says the European Union (EU) civilian monitoring mission has played a pivotal role in stabilizing the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

In a joint press conference with Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos, Mirzoyan, speaking in Yerevan today, highlighted the continuous efforts aimed at ensuring stability in the region. The deployment of the EU civilian monitoring mission along the border with Azerbaijan has been instrumental in achieving this goal.

"Since its deployment, it has played a tangible role in establishing stability in the entire perimeter, and Armenia has already welcomed the expansion of the mission's mandate," noted the Armenian FM.

The EU monitoring mission has actively contributed to the ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability in the border region. Mirzoyan's acknowledgment of its significant role reflects the collaborative initiatives in place to address challenges and promote a secure environment in the area.
