Gymnast Hamlet Manukyan Wins Gold in Croatia as Team Reaches Multiple Finals

Armenian gymnast Hamlet Manukyan won the gold medal at the World Cup on Saturday after scoring 14.733 points in the pommel horse final in Osijek, Croatia.

Fellow Armenian gymnast Mamikon Khachatryan also competed in the pommel horse final and finished in sixth place with a score of 13.433.

The final World Cup stage began several days ago in Osijek, where Armenian gymnasts qualified for finals in two apparatus events.

In the pommel horse qualification round, Manukyan and Khachatryan advanced to the final after placing third and fourth respectively. Manukyan scored 14.666 points in qualification, while Khachatryan earned 14.533.

Meanwhile, Arthur Avetisyan also secured a place in the finals after posting the third-best result in the rings qualification with 14.133 points.

Avetisyan entered the competition in strong form after winning a silver medal at the Cairo World Cup stage earlier this month.

The results continue Armenia’s successful run in international gymnastics competitions, with the country’s athletes once again reaching podium positions and finals at major World Cup events.
