The wife of Lebanese-Armenian Vicken Euljekjian, who recently returned from Azerbaijani captivity, has arrived in Armenia. Linda Euljekjian landed at Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport.
The arrival was covered on the ground by The Armenian Report’s Ani Khachatryan, who was present at the airport to welcome Linda Euljekjian and report on her return.
Linda appeared deeply emotional and overwhelmed upon her arrival in Armenia, speaking through tears as she shared her happiness about being close to seeing her husband again.
She said she was extremely emotional and very happy, adding that her only wish at this moment is to see Vicken as soon as possible. She also said she still cannot believe that this moment has become a reality.
During her brief comments, Linda also addressed questions about their son’s wedding, which had been postponed while Vicken remained in captivity. She said the family will think about wedding plans after Vicken returns to Lebanon.
Responding to a question from The Armenian Report about how their children reacted to the news, Linda said the children are very happy and are waiting for Vicken to return to Lebanon so they can hold their son’s wedding.
She later emphasized again that seeing Vicken is the most important thing for her right now and said she will share details about future plans later. Due to strong emotions and happiness, she found it difficult to speak at length.
