Olympiacos is close to signing Armenia international Nair Tiknizyan from Serbian champion Crvena Zvezda in a deal reportedly worth about €5 million.
Greek outlet Sport24 reported that the clubs have reached a verbal agreement for the 27-year-old left back, leaving only the structure of a performance-related bonus to be settled before the transfer can move forward.
Tiknizyan has made a move to Olympiacos his priority and has turned down interest from other clubs, including Zenit St. Petersburg, according to the report.
Talks have gathered pace in recent days. Sportal previously reported that Olympiacos and Crvena Zvezda were advancing negotiations and that the Greek club valued the Armenian defender at roughly €5 million.

Tiknizyan joined Crvena Zvezda in 2025 after four seasons with Lokomotiv Moscow. He has since made 29 league appearances for the Belgrade club, scoring once, and was part of the team that won both the Serbian SuperLiga and Serbian Cup in the 2025-26 season.
Before moving to Serbia, Tiknizyan spent much of his career in Russia. He came through CSKA Moscow’s academy and made his Russian Premier League debut in 2017. He later joined Lokomotiv Moscow in 2021, making 92 league appearances and scoring 12 goals over four seasons.
Born in Russia in 1999, Tiknizyan represents Armenia at the international level.
If the final details are resolved, the move would take him to Athens and one of the most prominent clubs in Greek football.
