Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan underscored the significance of fostering dialogue between Baku and Stepanakert within the context of international mechanisms, highlighting its critical role in addressing the security and rights of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians. Pashinyan made these remarks during a government session on July 13, where he also discussed the implications of the binding decision issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

The Prime Minister emphasized that the ICJ's decision offers an avenue for enhanced international unity in countering Azerbaijan's ongoing policy of ethnic cleansing in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). This ruling, according to Pashinyan, presents an opportunity for heightened global consolidation around the issue, aiming to address the grave challenges faced by the region.

"In this regard, the dialogue between Baku and Stepanakert within the framework of international mechanisms, with the agenda of ensuring the security and rights of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians, is extremely important," Pashinyan stated, emphasizing the need for cooperative efforts aimed at safeguarding the well-being and rights of the affected population.

Furthermore, Pashinyan drew attention to recent developments in border security discussions. He highlighted that on July 12, the 4th meeting of the commission for the delimitation and border security of the Armenian state border and the state commissions for the delimitation of the state border between Azerbaijan and Armenia took place along the border of the two countries. Additionally, he announced an upcoming meeting on Saturday in Brussels with the President of the EU Council and the President of Azerbaijan, signaling ongoing diplomatic efforts to address the region's challenges.

As the situation unfolds, Pashinyan's call for inclusive dialogue and international collaboration serves as a testament to Armenia's commitment to securing a peaceful and equitable resolution to the ongoing issues in Nagorno-Karabakh.
