Suren Aghajanyan Becomes U23 European Champion in Greco-Roman Wrestling

Armenian wrestler Suren Aghajanyan has become the Under-23 European Champion in Greco-Roman wrestling in the 60 kg weight category after a dominant performance at the tournament in Zrenjanin, Serbia.
In the final bout, Aghajanyan faced Georgian wrestler Giorgi Kocholidze. The Armenian athlete controlled the match from the beginning and secured an early victory with a convincing 9–0 score, becoming the new U23 European champion.
Throughout the championship, Aghajanyan showed strong form and clear dominance over his opponents. All of his victories in the tournament came before the end of the match. On his way to the final, he defeated wrestlers from Poland, Denmark, and France, each time finishing the bout early.
With this victory, Armenia secured its second gold medal in the Greco-Roman wrestling competition at the Under-23 European Championships.
The U23 European Championships bring together some of the best young wrestlers from across the continent and serve as an important stage for athletes who are preparing to compete at the senior international level.
