Armenia Wins Another Gold as Artur Davtyan Dominates Vault at World Cup in Cairo

Armenia’s national gymnastics team won another gold medal at the fourth stage of the Gymnastics World Cup in Cairo, Egypt, as Olympic silver medalist Artur Davtyan claimed first place in the vault final, adding to the country’s medal count during the ongoing international competition.

Davtyan delivered a strong performance in the vault event, where he outperformed all other competitors and secured the champion’s title. His result brought Armenia another gold medal at this stage of the World Cup and reinforced his status as one of the leading gymnasts in the discipline.

This latest success comes after strong results achieved by the Armenian team the day before. Hamlet Manukyan was crowned champion in the pommel horse event, earning a gold medal, while Artur Avetisyan took second place in the still rings final and secured a silver medal for Armenia.

The Gymnastics World Cup stage in Cairo has brought together athletes from different countries competing in individual apparatus finals. Armenia’s repeated podium finishes highlight the country’s growing presence in international gymnastics competitions.

It has also been announced that the fifth stage of the Gymnastics World Cup, which was scheduled to take place in Doha, has been canceled due to the regional situation. This change affects the continuation of the series, but does not take away from the results already achieved in Cairo.
