Kazakhstan Hosts Major Multinational Military Drills with Azerbaijan and Turkey
Kazakhstan has begun hosting a multinational military exercise named "Eternal Brotherhood - III," which involves special military units from six countries. The exercises officially kicked off at the Orda mountain military training ground in the Turkestan Region of Kazakhstan.
According to the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Defense, the participating countries are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. Additionally, representatives from the Jordanian and Kyrgyz armed forces are observing the exercises.
The military drills, which feature about 300 servicemen, include the use of armored vehicles, military aviation, and drones. The exercises aim to strengthen cooperation among the participating nations and enhance their operational readiness.
Simultaneously, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has expressed Kazakhstan's readiness to continue facilitating negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In a recent telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Tokayev reaffirmed Kazakhstan's commitment to providing the Almaty platform for ongoing peace talks.
