Norik Makaryan Wins Gold at Karate1 Youth League in Italy

Armenian youth karate athlete Norik Makaryan won the U14 −40 kg title at the Karate1 Youth League Jesolo–Venice 2025 tournament, currently underway in Italy.
The Karate Federation shared the news, announcing, "Norik Makaryan is the champion of the Karate1 Youth League. Norik Makaryan, an athlete of Armenia’s youth karate team, became the champion in the U14 -40 kg category at the ongoing Karate1 Youth League – Jesolo Venice 2025 tournament in Italy, the Federation reports. We congratulate our athlete and wish him many more victories."
Makaryan’s win adds to the growing list of achievements by young Armenian athletes who compete in the Karate1 Youth League, one of the most respected youth karate tournaments in the world. The event gathers hundreds of young competitors from different countries and is known for its high level of performance.
