Azerbaijan Violates Ceasefire in Northern Artsakh, No Casualties Reported
In the early hours of June 8, Azerbaijan violates ceasefire in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), reports the Defense Army of Artskah.
Between 2:25 to 2:35, the Azerbaijani armed forces employed small arms, violating the ceasefire in the northern direction of the line of contact. Fortunately, the Armenian side reported no casualties. The incident has been reported to the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent. As of 10:30 on June 8, the situation along the line of contact remains relatively stable.
Simultaneously, Azerbaijani authorities are falsely accusing Nagorno Karabakh of initiating the gunfire, perpetuating disinformation to justify their units' repeated ceasefire violations. The Artsakh Defense Army strongly refuted the claims made by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense. The allegations include accusations of the Defense Army units opening fire on Azerbaijani positions in the occupied territories of Shushi region and disrupting reinforcement works in the Askeran region, all of which the Artsakh Defense Army deemed completely untrue.
